I've seen watched the two videos below and both of them include a way of doing a faro shuffle, but through some kind of pressure (some might call it magic) they interweave 2 for 2, which I'm sure most of you should agree is 'unusual' to say the least.
http://vimeo.com/3775665 - watch the move at 01:45 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1REfkowg4t0 - watch it here at 00:50 I wanna know if anyone on this Forum does this/ can do it, and obviously I'd also like to gather some info on its mechanics from whoever is willing too share. Obviously this move does'nt have that many uses, but if you could think of one please post your thoughts below. cheers, Caspar

My good friend Nick Ganesh knows how to do this move. It seems pretty darn tough. See if you can get in touch with him if you want more information.

This is called "Faro Pairs" and is published on page 71 of The Magic of Eddie Fechter. Good luck on your quest for the answer.

As far as I know , Marlo has some work on it, but in the trailer Don England does the sleight and Spencer told me it was Don's, and to be fair I haven't got a clue who came up with it first.
And btw, if you find this a weird sleight, i've seen Spencer do a Holy Anti-Faro , which is just insane. Jesse |

This is actually Marlo's thing.
@Jesse, I am able to do 2x2, 1x2, 1x3 anti faros on command. Just takes practice. |

Awesome!
Do you have any tips on how to accomplish these types of anti faros? Btw: Are you really a girl? You'd be a rarity on this Forum. cheers, Caspar

Just takes practice. Work off of various pressure points and such.
And no, I just have a cool avatar. |
