Hey,
I'm actually working on Benjamin Earl's Shades of Hofzinser. In the explanation he says to execute a Double Undercut to bring the top card to the bottom of the deck. Then later he talk's about a Double Cut. Where can I learn these cuts in detail? I watched Benjamin perform them over and over but still can't figure them out... I also looked in The Expert at The Card Table but didn't find anything similar. Maybe I missed something out I don't know. All the best,

To bring the top card to the bottom via a double undercut, you start with a break below the above, transfer it the left hand or right, whatever your preference, and then cut the bottom part of the deck to the top, but maintaining the break. then just cut in whatever sequence and finish by cutting at the break.-> Now you've successfully manuevered the a desirable amount of cards from the top to the bottom.
hope this helps, and I'm sure you'll figure out how to do this vice versa. cheers, Caspar |

Thank's for taking the time to reply, but what do you mean by "below the above" ?
Sorry I didn't get that ^^' Cheers,

Steve Draun has a very nice cut of double undercutting a card to the bottom of the pack.

You just keep a break between the top and the second/ rest of the deck.
I think you imagine it too complex, it's a very simple move as you are just cutting the card to the bottom with straight cuts. cheers, Caspar Last edited by Casmeister; 02-20-2010 at 05:39 AM. |
