Default The Top Change

Hello there everyone,

I've recently been trying to find a good single card switch and started improving my very basic top change that I think comes from Card College vol 1. I got the on demand-video with David Williamson and started wondering what the difference between his version of the move and "all others" is.

Obviously he uses a completely different preparation for the switch-in card that has next to no perceptible finger work (even if you are staring at the hands), but I wonder if there's something else. Is this method more silent than the "regular" top change? Are there any other advantages? I'm just curious because I'm choosing between working on my current top change, or if I should start practicing his method.

Thanks in advance!

Well he has made many improvements and refinements including making it silent and invisible.
